Living  in Uptown Charlotte, NC  is always an adventure.  On any given day residents can enjoy a multitude of activities including sporting events, shopping  and Broadway shows.  The city is filled with a cross section of  busy people including bankers, engineers, entrepreneurs, attorneys, real estate professional, students, etc.

Below is an example of what one can expect to encounter as a resident of Uptown Charlotte, NC.

panther6:00 AM – Morning run/Work out - Pass the Panthers’ Practice field and around Bank of America Stadium.  Down Morehead to McDowell where you past the Mecklenburg County Court House and Jail.  Down 6th Street pass Time Waner Arena and through the business district.   Or a quick weight training session at the Dowd Y.  Then home to get ready for the day.trolley

8:00 AM – Jump on the Goldrush (Free Fare Trolley) or a quick walk to work.  Most residents will enjoy their day in meetings at Bank of America, Duke Energy or Wachovia / Wells Fargo.

9:15 AM – Coffee break – my favorite place to grab coffee in the morning is either the Starbucks @ Gateway Village or the Caribou in the Overstreet Mall.

12:15 pm – Out to lunch, grab a quick bite to eat at Dean and Deluca or the Just Fresh.   Maybe stop in Belle Ville, in the Epi Center or Emerson Joseph, on S. Tyron St. to check out their new arrivals.  Then it is back to work.

3:00 PM – The occasional email back and forth with friends about evening or weekend plans to pass the time at work.  Oh, do not forget about that conference call.

6ish – Either home to relax, happy hour, dinner with friends or out to catch a a game or a show.
