First Time Home Buyer Misconception #2

I Can Find All Poperties For sale on My Own.sellers_couple-purchasing-home_2

The internet and real estate ads contain a lot of information. The problem is that often times the information they post is inaccurate. Search engines frequently do not track what is actually for sale vs. under contract or already sold as an example.

As your Buyer’s Agent, it is my job to show you ALL available properties no matter which firm they are listed with or even if it’s a For Sale by Owner.

If you are planning on buying a property this year, contact me in order to set up a consultation.

First Time Home Buyer Misconception #1

The agent on the “For Sale” Sign is looking out for YOUR best interest.

Do not make the mistake of thinking that the listing agent oreal_estate_agent_for_sale_sign_hg_clr_10980n the sign will help you when you buy your property. The fact is that Agent works for the seller and has a contract stating it’s their job to get the Seller the most amount of money for the property. If you have your own Realtor, (your Buyer’s Agent) they are there to protect your best interests and owe you the following:

  1. Representing you and ONLY you during the transaction.
  2. Make sure you pay the least amount of money for the property.
  3. Help you negotiate the best price and terms on your behalf.
  4. Help you with all the contracts, financing, inspections, etc.

If you are considering buying a property this year, contact me in order to set up a consultation meeting.
